Ingredients:

2 cups besan (gram flour)

2 cups sooji (semolina)

3 cups sugar

1 cup milk

1/2 cup water

1 cup ghee

8 small cardamoms

Finely chopped almonds, pistachios as required

Method:

Heat ghee in pot and put cardamom. When aroma comes, add semolina and gram flour, roast it nicely and take it out. Now put sugar and water in pot, cook for 5 minutes, add semolina and gram flour before making syrup and roast it again. When both ingredients combines, put raisins. Then add milk and stir it fast so that halwa rises. Now grease thali, spread halwa and sprinkle almonds and pistachios. When cool, cut into squares and serve.
